- Shockingly, leaders of the Church have not faced any repercussions, with some even scaling the hierarchal ladder.
- The 2018 grand jury report points out that Cardinal Donald Wuerl, former Bishop of Pittsburgh, is alleged to have relocated abusive priests to new parishes, hiding their sinful acts.
- Sadly, out of the more than 300 clergy named in the 2018 report, a minuscule number of just two faced with criminal charges.
